Renaud Lapierre, Eng. LL.L

Renaud Lapierre is an engineer with a law degree. He initially worked in Quebec’s public sector, where he held several positions, notably as Assistant Deputy Minister in the ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources, during which time, among other things, he coordinated the preparation of the Livre blanc sur la politique énergétique québécoise. He then worked as a development and marketing advisor for technology and manufacturing companies before co-founding, together with an associate, his own consulting firm, through which he negotiated more than a hundred sales, merger, acquisition and financing transactions. For the past 30 years, he has been lending his keen business sense to promote several companies which he has served as principal manager and shareholder. These include Congébec, Pelliko, Domaine des Marguerites in Charlevoix, Services Environnementaux Richelieu and Viridis Environnement. He has also served on the boards of directors of organizations involved in a range of areas, including finance, youth and the arts.
