Depuis 2019, Viridis environnement propose des solutions efficaces et adaptées aux besoins des municipalités, et ce, par le biais de son nouveau service clé en main de pompage, de vidange et de recyclage des boues accumulées aux stations d’épuration des eaux usées. Jusqu’à présent, des travaux ont été effectués dans 25 chantiers et nous n’avons reçu que des commentaires élogieux à cet égard.
Viridis environnement regularly participates in these co-creation tables set up by the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight against Climate Change (MELCC) in 2018, in order to share its experience and know-how in the advancement of the new Quebec legislation on environmental quality.
Viridis environnement was one of the proud partners of the 87th Acfas Congress held in Gatineau on May 27th and 28th, 2019 under the theme “A green economy for Quebec: how to operationalize a necessary transition”. The Black Lake Mine in Thetford Mines is in its 3rd year of the Black Lake mine stockpiles afforestation program. Aimed at finding methods conducive to the growth of trees in a particularly hostile environment, the project has already identified factors that favour the establishment of certain species.
Viridis environnement now offers efficient solutions adapted to the needs of municipalities with its new “turnkey” service for pumping and recycling sludge accumulated at wastewater treatment plants. This new division for the emptying of aerated or vertical lagoons has acquired two specialized dredgers.
Viridis environnement has signed a major contract with the second-largest agri-food cooperative in Canada. The main part of the contract aims at taking care of all the fertilizing residual materials produced by all its plants in Quebec.
